She married Dale Henry Huff on June 3rd 1950. Together they had 3 boys Lawrence, Randall and Richard. Randall died on Oct 30 2001.
she loved working in her garden at home in Yelm, where some of her ashes are scattered. Her ashes were also taken to Spray Park on Mt Rainier and sprinkled on the beautiful wildflowers there which she dearly loved.
