Kelly's life was taken in an automobile crash. Kelly Joseph Watkins, 17, passed away December 16, 1999, in Kansas City. Kelly attended Van Horn High School and also leaves many friends from Englewood Christian Academy. He was a member of Beaumont Baptist Church, and an Eagle Scout from Boy Scout Troop #201 at Maywood Baptist Church, and a member of the Tribe of Mic-O-Say. The family retains his cremated remains.
