Folk Personality. Staff Sergeant, U.S. Marine Corps during World War II. Saw duty as an aerial gunner in Kwajalein Atoll, in the Marshall Islands, in the Pacific Theater of Operations. Radioman on TBM Avenger torpedo bomber "FT-36" [TBM-1C - BuNo 46094], that was part of the infamous Flight 19 squadron, that disappeared in the Bermuda Triangle during a routine 5-ship overwater navigation training mission out of Naval Air Station Fort Lauderdale, Florida.
