LEICESTER Al Arsenault, 69, of 232 Pleasant Street, died Tuesday, May 15 in St. Vincent Hospital after an illness.
He leaves his wife of 30 years, Debbie J. (Parcell) Arsenault; three sons: Joe Arsenault of Goodyear, AZ, Ken Arsenault of Ware and Duncan Arsenault of Worcester; three daughters: Charlene Arsenault of Auburn, Alyson Avoglia of Charlton and Brielle Arsenault of Worcester; two brothers: Gerry Arsenault of Worcester and Ernest Arsenault of North Oxford; two sisters: Theresa Gosselin of Auburn and Rita Herzog of Florida; 6 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Al was born in Mexico, Maine, son of Hector and Elia (Leblanc) Arsenault. He was a prominent Musician in the Worcester area for over 50 years.
A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, May 19 in the Leicester Federated Church, 1 Washburn Square, Leicester at 10:00 AM. Burial will be at the convenience of the family. Calling hours will be held Friday, May 18 from 4:00-7:00 PM in the MORRISON-MORIN FUNERAL HOME, 1131 Main Street, Leicester. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to: Leicester Federated Church, 1 Washburn Sq., Leicester, MA 01524 to be distributed to a music fund that will be determined later.
