At the age of 64, William "Skipper" Detrick passed away on Dec. 30, 2013. He was a life-long resident of St Augustine and graduated in the Class of 1967 St Augustine High School. He was preceded in death by his parents, Nancy and Gilbert Walls.
He is survived by his loving wife of 25 years, Linda; his brother Douglas (Kathy) Detrick; mother-in-law, Mary "Blondie" Stevens; daughter, Tina Hinman; granddaughter, Ashley Thomas; great-granddaughter, Aubree; niece, Angela (Mikel) Briggs; nephews, Douglas William Detrick and Scooter Blalock; great nephew, Douglas Brigg; and great niece, Savanna Briggs.
He owned and operated Detrick's Stucco and was an avid fisherman and Gator fan. He was loved and will be missed by all. At Skip's request there will be no public service and the family will have a private gathering.
