Imo Virginia Standridge age 92 of Dardanelle died Tuesday, September 8, 2015 at Dardanelle Nursing and Rehab Center.
She was born August 17, 1923 at Crow Mountain to the late Walter and Nettie Dollar Bond.
She was a member of the Calvary Baptist Church in Dardanelle, the Pope County Dolls Society and she loved hunting and fishing.
She was preceded in death by her parents; one son, Eugene Whitbey; husband, Melvin Standridge; two brothers, Alvin Bond, Ralph Bond; three sisters, Margie McAnulty, Sylvia Hudson and Dorothy Sutter.
Survivors include four children, Reece Whitbey (Sheila) of North Little Rock, Mike Whitbey (Trish) of Dardanelle, Tommy Whitbey (Melbra) of Talaquah, Oklahoma, Donald Whitbey (Debbie) of Crow Mtn.; sixteen grandchildren; thirty three great grandchildren and fifteen great great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00A.M., Friday, September 11, 2015 at Cornwell Chapel in Dardanelle. Burial will be in Bowden Cemetery. Visitation will be held Thursday, 5:00P.M. to 7:00P.M. at the chapel.
Honorary pallbearers will be the Staff of Dardanelle Nursing and Rehab Center.
Arrangements are by Cornwell Funeral Home in Dardanelle.
