Richard L. Ross, 58, Rt. 1, Burnettsville, died at 6:18 a.m.
Thursday in Memorial Hospital.
He was born Oct. 20,1928, in Cass County to Lawrence and Lucille
Robertson Ross. He was married to Marie Russell, who died Dec.
17, 1981. He was married Dec, 30, 1984, to Bonnie Shaffer, who
survives.
He was employed as a construction worker and was a member of
Operating Engineers Local 103.
He was a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean Conflict and was a
member of the Logansport American Legion Post.
Also surviving are seven sons, Darrell, Derek and Mike, all of
Logansport, Dale and Daniel, both of Elkhart, Dennis, Texas, and
Gary, Burnettsville; a daughter, Julie McArtany, Indianapolis;
three stepdaughters, Tanya Ream and Candice Kennell, both of
Royal Center, and Rita Ross, Logansport; a brother, George,
Denton, Texas; and 16 grandchildren. Two sons preceded in death.
Services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Saturday in Fisher Funeral
Chapel, with the Rev. Ron Lewellen officiating. Burial will be in
Davis Cemetery.
Friends may call from 2 to 9 p.m. Friday in the funeral chapel.
