Henry Wynn, 65, Dies Sunday At Riverside Home.
Henry Wynn, 65, died at his home in Riverside at 7 p.m., Sunday, after an illness of five days, of Bright's disease.
Mr. Wynn was born in New York. He enlisted in the army from Illinois in 1864, serving through the remainder of the war. He was a member of the local G.A.R. He came to Kansas in 1889, buying the Chelsea store, which he ran until four years ago. He, together with Mr. Randall, purchased the second hand store of M.F. Kreider on North Main street this summer.
Mr. Wynn was working at the store last Tuesday and became overheated. He got into his delivery wagon and drove to his home, where he took to his bed and never got up. He apparently was doing well and his death was sudden. He was an honest Christian and had many friends.
Mr. Wynn is survived by his wife and three daughters, Mrs. Addie Wentworth, Los Angeles, Calif.; Mrs. Emma Hull, of Chelsea; and Mrs. Eva Mordica, of El Dorado.
The funeral will be held from the home at 2 p.m., Tuesday, Rev. H.J. Crockett, officiating. Interment will be made in Belle Vista cemetery.
