Wilbert Leon Banfield, of Atlantic City, passed away Wednesday at Mainland Manor Nursing Home in Pleasantville, after a short illness.
He attended the public schools in this city.
As a young man, he worked with his father as a paperhanger and their motto was "We Make Your Walls Smile". He continued this line of work until he retired.
He was the oldest of eight children and leaves to mourn two sisters; one brother, Charles J. Banfield and a host of nieces, nephews, sisters-in-law and friends.
Services at Union Baptist Temple, Pennsylvania and Drexel Avenues, Atlantic City. Interment in Greenwood Cemetery, Pleasantville.
