Ann G. Alberts, 85, of 1202 Dalton, died at 2:05 a.m. Friday, April 10, 1998, at Heritage Manor Nursing Home.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at St. Stephen's Church. The Monsignor Peter Bolerasky will officiate. Music will be provided by St. Stephen's Grade School Choir under the direction of Jo Ann Cave.

Burial will be in St. Stephen's Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 9-11 a.m. Monday at the Solon Funeral Home.

Born Sept. 3, 1912, in Streator, she was the daughter of John and Mary (Krachum) Kachmar She married Walter M. Alberts on Nov. 8,1934 at St. Stephen's Church. He died June 15,1988.

She is survived by a son, Richard W. Alberts of Lincoln Park Community in Chicago; a daughter, Marilyn (Mrs. Kenneth) Swanson of Streator; and a brother, John Kachmar of Streator.

She was preceded in death by sisters, Gertrude Alberts, Mary Dady and a brother, Edward Kachmar.

She attended Brown's Business College. She retired from St. Mary's Hospital as a nurse's aide in 1977.

She was a member of St. Ann's Society Branch 66 of the First Catholic Slovak Ladies Association.
