A resident of this city most of his life, Mr. Baker was born October 15, 1956 in East Chicago, Indiana, to Willard and Marie (Petko) Baker. He graduated from Marmion Military Academy.
He was last employed by Reactor Control, Seneca, and was a member of Pipefitters Local 81. He was a member of the Streator Fraternal Order of Eagles.
Surviving are his parents; his wife, the former Linda Mazzola; one son: Scott; one daughter: Shea; his paternal grandparents: Mr. and Mrs. E. O. Baker of Pontiac.
