On Feb. 19, 1950 she was baptized. During Carol's brief life she was afflicted by an unfortunate malady for which there was little hope for a permanent cure. As a result of it she passed away early Tuesday morning, March 5, at the Reedsburg Municipal hospital. She had reached an age of 7 years, l month and one day. She was in the first grade in the Loganville school.
Her death is mourned by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Erwin Baumgarten, two sisters two grandmothers, one grandfather, her great grandmother, eight uncles, two aunts, numberous cousins and a host of other relatives and friends.
