LESLIE T. ALEXANDER

Leslie T. Alexander, 83, husband of Mrs. Edna A. Hutzell Alexander of Boonsboro, died at the Washington County Hospital in Hagerstown Thursday night after a brief illness.

He was born near Middletown, a son of the late Franklin and Lydia Smith Alexander. He was a retired carpenter and a member of the Trinity Lutheran Church in Boonsboro.

Besides his wife, he is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Agatha Flook Lantz, Frederick; two sons, Roland E. Alexander of Butler Mo., and Pierce L. Alexander of Hagerstown; one sister, Mrs. Margaret Sterner, and one brother, Lawson Alexander, both of Boonsboro.
Nine grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews also survive.

Friends may call at the Bast Funeral Home in Boonsboro from 7 until 9 p.m. Sunday. Funeral services will be held Monday at 2 p.m. with the Rev. Neil Newton officiating. Burial will be in the Boonsboro cemetery.
