Rosalie M. (Buttacavoli) Cartullo of Holbrook, formerly of Randolph, died peacefully, surrounded by her loving family, Oct. 31, 2010, at the age of 84. Wife of the late George V. Cartullo, she was the loving mother of Rosemarie Burns and her husband Dwight of Holbrook, Lena Cain and her husband Richard of Stoughton, Carol Cartullo of Holbrook, Dannielle Delorey and her husband Mitchell of Holbrook, Georgina Coelho and her husband George of Holbrook, George V. Cartullo and his wife Leslie of Holbrook and Rosalie Piver and her husband John of Scituate. Also survived by 14 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. Rosalie was born in Boston, grew up in Randolph and graduated from Randolph High School. She owned and operated Brook Contractors Supply in Avon since 1945. She loved to travel and was an active member of St. Michael Church in Avon, however, her main passion was spending time with her family. Rosalie will be greatly missed by all those who were blessed to have known her. Reposing at the Cartwright Funeral Home, 419 North Main St. (Rte. 28), Randolph, until 11:15 a.m. Thursday followed by a funeral Mass at 12 p.m. in St. Michael Church, 87 North Main St., Avon. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours Wednesday 5-9 p.m. Burial in St. Michael Cemetery, Avon. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in her name to Old Colony Hospice, 1 Credit Union Way, Randolph, MA 02368.
