Charlotte A Bolyard, 79 of Newburg, WV, passed away Wednesday, April 16, 2014 at Heartland of Preston County with family by her side. She was born June 6, 1934 in Preston County, daughter of the late Melvin and Beulah Lipscomb Peters. Charlotte was a housewife, love reading books, camping, fishing, making quilts, farming, gardening and flowers. She was a member of the Solid Rock Church. Charlotte is survived by her loving husband of over 60 years, Robert Lee Bolyard; three children, Gary Lee Bolyard, Cleveland, OH, Sandra Kay Hall, Newburg, Janet A McGill, Tunnelton; seven grandchildren, David Lee Bolyard, Stacy Ann Bolyard, Chelsie Nicole Bolyard, Jennifer Ann Smouse, Loretta Lynn May, Herbert McGill Jr., Christopher McGill; ten great-grandchildren; one sister, Shirley Zalonis, Cleveland, OH; In addition to her parents, Charlotte is preceded in death by one sister, Mary Jane Maynor. Family and friends will be received at Bolyard Funeral Home, 79 Morgantown St. Newburg, WV, Friday, April 18, 2014 from 4-8pm, and Saturday, April 19, 2014 at the Solid Rock Church in Newburg from 11am until time of service at 12:00 noon with Pastor Delbert Lyons officiating.
