Mrs. Willard Elaine Ewell, age 79, of Monticello, died Friday, May 10th at Drew Memorial Hospital. She was the widow of David Ray Ewell, a housewife and a Baptist.
She was the daughter of Earl Standefer and Lola Nelson Standefer Lasater. She was born Dec 2, 1914 in Benton County Texas.
She is preceded in death by a son, James Roy Morris.
She is survived by a son, Carl Ewell (Linda) of Monticello ; three daughters Viretta Connard (Donnie) of Monticello, Geraldine Mclure (William) of Pine Bluff, and Marilyn Boyd of Mesquite, TX; and 12 Grandchildren Sonya Boyd, Tim Ewell, Elaine Connard , David Mclure, Becky Ewell, Brenda Connard, Brenda Mclure, Michelle Ewell, Paul Mclure, Don Connard, Kim Ewell, and Jeremy Ewell.
Funeral services were at 4pm, Sunday, May 12 at the Stephenson Funeral Home Chapel by Rev. Ray Floyd and Rev. Mike Crane with burial in the Valley Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Ollie Knight, Larry Frye, Gary Montgomery, Johnny Wilmoth, Danny Lloyd, and Charles (C.L.) Connard
