From the 11/12/1945 Delphos, Ohio, edition of the Delphos Daily Herald: "Theodore L. Seekings, 58, of Van Wert, died suddenly at the home of Mrs. Lucile Nelson, West Clime street, Sunday. His death was attributed to a heart attack. Mrs. Mary Hurley, South Clay street, is a daughter. Mr. Seekings, who was visiting in Delphos, was a truck driver. Surviving are a son, William Carl, with the United States Navy and stationed in San Diego; a daughter, Mrs. Mary Hurley, South Clay street; four grandchildren; his mother, Mrs. Mary Ann Seekings, Van Wert; and a brother, John, Columbus. Services will be held at the Seekings residence in Van Wert at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday with the Rev. E. E. Stophor, of this city, in charge. Burial will be in Woodland cemetery, Van Wert. The remains will be removed from the Harter funeral home here to the Seekings residence Tuesday."
