John R. Libbey, Santa Fe conductor, whose home is at Argentine, died at the Santa Fe hospital at 9:30 yesterday morning as a result of injuries received at Emporia about 9 o’clock Sunday night… His wife arrived from Argentine early his morning and was with him when he died.
Mr. Libbey has been with the Santa Fe for thirteen years. He was formerly a resident of Topeka, and left two brothers and a sister who now live here.
