Julie Anne Bradshaw

WILLIS — Julie Anne Bradshaw, a Willis resident since August 17, 2007, departed this world on April 10, 2008. She was born in Galveston, Texas, on February 28, 1957. She graduated in Corpus Christi, Texas, from W. B. Ray High School, class of ’75. Julie went on to earn a B.A. in Journalism, magna cum laude, August 17, 1991, and an M.A. in Public Relations Studies from the University of Houston, May 17, 1997. Julie was also an Advanced Certified Clinical Hypnotist since August 17, 2003. She was employed as a Global Communications Specialist at Hewitt Packard and was employed previously by Tenneco. Julie joined The Crighton Players in Conroe and appeared in “M.A.S.H.” in 2007. The range of her talents and interest were unlimited and included a love of the arts, the sea and the cosmos. She loved traveling, gardening, needlework, camping, fishing, reading, and had an unquenchable thirst for knowledge to widen her horizons.

Julie is survived by her loving sons, Joshua Adam Phillips, Christopher Aaron Phillips and Zachary Logan Phillips; mother and step-father, Patricia and David Tittle; father, Richard Allen Bradshaw; sisters, Katie Bradshaw and husband Matthew McCracken and Colleen Bradshaw; ex-husband, Sherman Lee Gorton; uncle and aunt, John E. Bradshaw and wife Karen and Barbara Bradshaw; cousins, Bradley Isaacs and Brenda Isaacs Booth and husband Bill; niece, Jessica Bradshaw and nephew, Conor McCracken.

A Memorial Service will be held at 7:00 p.m., Thursday, April 17, 2008, at the Metcalf Funeral Home Chapel.
