Robert "Bob" E. Phillips, Jr., 60 of Dublin passed away on May 1, 2015. Bob was born on January 14, 1955 in Griffin, Georgia to the late Evelyn and Robert Phillips, Sr. Bob is survived by his loving wife, Diane Phillips, his son and best friend Robert Phillips, III, and his younger sister, Joy Phillips and his cherished childhood friends from Tullahoma, Tennessee. He enjoyed years of surveying projects from National Forests in Oregon, Colorado, and Washington State, to Raleigh Durham Airport, and many phases of Boston’s Big Dig. Bob lived life to its fullest and will be remembered by all who knew him by his contagious smile, vibrant character, and generous heart. A viewing will be held at RUTHERFORD FUNERAL HOME AT POWELL 450 W. Olentangy Street , Powell, OH. 43065 (614) 792-1471 on TUESDAY, MAY 5, 2015 from 5:00-8:00 pm. A Celebration of his life will be held at the DUBLIN PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH, 5775 Dublinshire Drive Dublin, OH. 43017 on WEDNESDAY, MAY 6, 2015 at 11:00 am. Ceremonies will also follow in Tennessee and Massachusetts.
