She was born in Altoona, daughter of Kenneth and Kathleen (McIntosh) Behe.
Surviving are her husband, James Shable; two children: Melissa Perrone and Michael; five grandchildren; and eight siblings: Thomas Behe, Judy Lynch, Joan Behe, Debbie Trently, Donald Behe, Connie Reed, Jenny Behe and Mark Behe.
She was preceded in death by three brothers: Kenneth, Vincent and Rodgers Behe.
Friends will be received from 4 until the 8 p.m. funeral service Friday, Sept. 19, 2014, at Serenko-Claar Funeral Home, Portage, Pastor John Palko officiating.
