Mrs. Faye Peoples Coker, 75, of LaGrange, GA passed away Saturday, May 2, 2015 at Emory Healthcare of Atlanta, GA.
Mrs. Coker was born February 13, 1940 in Eclectic, AL, daughter of the late George Crier Peoples and Brevise Inez Alexander Peoples. Faye was the Site Manager at the Active Life Senior Center and was a member of First Baptist Church on the Square, LaGrange, GA.
Survivors include two children: Renee (David) O'Hagan and Clifford Dean (Jeanne) Coker; sister: Jeanette P. (Henry) Griffith; grandchildren: Clifford Cameron Coker, Mary Catherine Coker (Chase) Kojis, Helene Coker O'Hagan, Savannah Marie Coker, Marshall Barry Coker; and great grandchildren: Emma Chase, Eryn Cecilia, and Elly Caidyn Kojis.
Funeral service will be held 10:30 A.M. Tuesday, May 5, 2015 at First Baptist Church on the Square with Reverend Tom Farr officiating. The gathering of family and friends will be in the Fellowship Hall of First Baptist Church on the Square immediately following the funeral service. Burial will be at 3:30 P.M. (EST) in Pleasant Grove Cemetery, Eclectic, AL.
In lieu of flowers the family requests contributions be made to First Baptist Church on the Square, Celebrate Recovery, in memory of Mrs. Faye P. Coker. 100 Broad St, LaGrange, GA 30240.
