Francis "Fritz" Hatison, 84, a long time resident of Mercer Street, Harrisburg and recently the Middletown Home, departed this life on October 6, 2015 in Community General Osteopathic Hospital.
Fritz was the last of eight siblings born to the late Theresa and John Hatison.
He graduated from Highspire High School, Class of 1948, where he received many awards for his football talents and also played baseball and basketball. He was a U.S. Navy Veteran, past Commander of the Highspire American Legion Post #945, member of the Highspire Alumni Association and was an amateur photographer which led to a picture taking safari in Africa. His favorite pastime was watching sports on TV, especially the Phillies.
