A graveside service will be held at Kershaw City Cemetery with Rev. Karen Ballard officiating.
Born in Camden, SC, Ms. Ballard was a daughter of the late James Gilbert Ballard and the late Ida Bell Ogburn Ballard. She was of the Baptist faith and lived in Kershaw until 1994 then moved to Rock Hill. She was loved by all and she loved everyone especially babies and animals. She never met a stranger and never forgot people she met. She was a wonderful playmate for her nieces and nephews teaching them to play card and board games and how to build puzzles. She will be missed by her family and friends.
Surviving are her sister, Jolene Settlemyer of Rock Hill; five nieces and nephews; and three great-nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her brother, Charles Ballard.
