Frieda (Lerner) Seidman, of Delray Beach, FL, beloved wife for 64 years of Frank Seidman, died on Saturday (August 25, 2001). Born in Russia, she emigrated to New York at age 11, settling in New York City, NY, where she worked in the garment industry.

In addition to her husband, Frank, she is survived by two sons, Dr. Marshall L. Seidman and his wife Susan of Bloomfield, as well as Dr. Martin I. Seidman and his wife Carol, formerly of Bloomfield, now residing in Boca Raton, FL. She was rewarded with four grandchildren, Julie and fiance Jeremy Parks, Sharon and husband Gad Berdugo, Dena and husband David Cooperman and Jeremy Seidman; as well as two great grandchildren, Raphael and Gabriella.

She will be greatly missed by all.

A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, August 29, at Mt. Judah Cemetery in Queens, NY. A memorial period will be observed through Monday evening at the home of Dr. Marshall Seidman. Dr. Martin Seidman will be observing a memorial period in New York City, NY, at the home of his daughter, Sharon Berdugo. Memorial donations may be made to Beth Hillel Synagogue, 160 Wintonbury Ave, Bloomfield, CT or the American Cancer Society. Published in The Hartford Courant on Aug. 28, 2001
