Mr. Kelley worked Shields Slipper Factory and, several years later, for Canadian National Railroad and Conrail in Bombay. He retired in April 1994 because of health concerns.
Born Dec. 29, 1938, in Bombay, son of Robert and Lois Allen Kelley, he attended Bombay High School.
He married Marilyn M. Sharpe on July 4, 1966.
Surviving besides his wife are a son and his wife, Michael and Lynn, Bombay; two daughters and a son-in-law, Kristine and Matthew Barney and Kassie Kelley, all of Bombay, and four grandchildren.
A funeral Mass will be said at 10 a.m. Monday at St. Mary's Church, Fort Covington, with the Rev. Kris C. Lauzon, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery, Fort Covington.
Calling hours will be from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at Cappiello-McKenzie & Cosgrove Funeral Home, Fort Covington.
Donations may be made to Bombay Fire and Rescue Squad.
