Joan C. A. Snell, 85, of Manheim, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Saturday, September 24, 2016.

She was married 63 years.

Born in Long Island, NY she was the daughter of the late William A. and Marcha Hoymeyer Meier.

Joan was a homemaker and a member of Faith Bible Fellowship in Lancaster.

She enjoyed gardening and working in her flower beds, sewing, and knitting.

She was known for the many Raggedy Ann and Andy Dolls she had made over the years.

Surviving besides her husband are two sons, two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, October 1, at 11:00 A.M. at Faith Bible Fellowship, 151 Donerville Road, Lancaster, PA.

Friends may call at the church on Saturday from 10:00 A.M. until the time of the service.

Interment will be private and held at the convenience of the family in the Jersey Shore Cemetery, Jersey Shore, PA.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in her memory may be made to Brittany's Hope, Dow Family Fund, 1160 N. Market St., Elizabethtown, PA
