Betty Lou "Bet" Landingham Robertson June 22, 1929 ~ Aug. 22, 2011 Mrs. Betty Lou "Bet" Landingham Robertson, 82, died Monday, August 22, 2011. She was born June 22, 1929 in Forsyth County to Fred Gray Landingham Sr. and Ina Blakely Landingham. Bet was a 1947 graduate of Hanes High School and was a member of First Baptist Church in King. She was preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, James D. "Jim" Robertson. Surviving are two daughters, Carmel Robertson Hall and husband Bruce, and Angela "Angie" Robertson Boyles; two grandchildren, Jaime Danielle Boyles, and Alexander Donald Boyles. Funeral Services will be held at 2 p.m., Thursday, August 25, at the First Baptist Church in King with Glenn VanMeter, Min, and the Rev. Alan VanMeter officiating. Burial will follow in Forsyth Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the church from 6 to 8 p.m., Wednesday, August 24.
