James Daniel "Jim" Robertson, 81, died Monday, February 8, 2010. He was born November 27, 1928 in Forsyth County to Bailey Daniel and Vesta Naomi Hudson Robertson. He owned and operated Jim Robertson Chevrolet for several years and later Jim Robertson Motors, both in King. He was also active in land development and real estate. Jim was preceded in death by a brother, Carroll "Chuck" Robertson. He is survived by his wife, Betty Lou "Bett" Landingham Robertson; two daughters, Carmel Robertson Hall and husband, Bruce, and Angela "Angie" Robertson Boyles; two grandchildren, Jaime Danielle Boyles, and Alexander Donald Boyles; two brothers and three sisters-in-law, Donald Robertson and wife, Alice, Zeke Robertson and wife, Mary Lou, and Mary Robertson; and several nieces and nephews. Jim was a member of First Baptist Church in King where Funeral Services will be held at 2 p.m., Friday, February 12, 2010, with Glenn Van Meter, Min. and the Rev. Allan Van Meter officiating. Burial will follow in Forsyth Memorial Park.
