POWELL Marian (nee Breen), age 81, of Paterson, on Tuesday, January 10, 2017. Born in Paterson, Marian was a lifelong resident. She had worked as a nurse's aide at Allendale Nursing Home and Van Dyk Manor in Ridgewood.
Marian was the beloved wife of the late James T. Powell, Sr. (1985). Loving mother of Glenda Grandioso of Garfield, James T. Powell, Jr. of Verona, Melvin J. Powell of Paterson and Mary Powell of Rahway. Dear grandmother of Larry and Joe Grandioso, Brittany, James, Justin and Patrick Powell, and Zachary and Michaela Woolley. Dearest great-grandmother of Gino and Lianna Grandioso. Sister of Jacqueline Conforti, Annamarie Finch, Robert Breen, Raymond Breen, Ina Mae Hensz and the late John Breen, Leonard Brain and Ruth Wellmeier.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, January 12, 2017 from 5-8 PM at the Browning-Forshay Funeral Home, 557 Lafayette Ave., Hawthorne. Cremation will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial donation may be made to the
Alzheimer's Association.
