Lucille Marie (Ludy) Sumler, age 49,
died Monday evening, February 3, 1992 in a Roanoke hospital. She is survived by
her husband, Donald Sumler; a daughter and son-in-law, Teresa Lynn and Richard
Harris, Christiansburg; two sons and daughters-in-law, Richard Michael and Kathy
Sumler, Floyd; Bobby Allen and Phyllis Sumler, Christiansburg; her mother,
Lucille Jewell Harmon; Christiansburg; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Margaret
and John Early, Clara and Mark Woolwine, both of Blacksburg; three brothers and
sisters-in-law, Robert and Sarah Harmon, Pearisburg, Walter Wayne and Sally
Harmon, Christiansburg; Tommy Allen and Freda Harmon, McCoy, Va.; eight
grandchildren. Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Thursday from the Bible
Holiness Church conducted by the Rev. John Early and Rev. Homer D. Sawyer with
burial in Roselawn Memorial Gardens. The body has been placed in the Church
where the family will receive friends from 7:00 until 9:00 Wednesday evening.
Arrangements are being handled by the Richardson-Horne Funeral Home.
