Pierre Faber, Galesburg Chapel 77, of Galesburg, died at 2 p.m. Sunday, September 14, 2014 in Galesburg Cottage Hospital.
He was born June 19, 1937 in Kewanee, the son of Emile and Margaret (Long) Faber.
He is survived by his brother, Ron (and Cheryl) Faber of Sterling, three nieces, and one nephew. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother.
Pierre was a long time resident of group homes in the Knox County area. He attended KCCDD and enjoyed his friends and eating.
Cremation has been accorded. A scattering ceremony will be held at 1:30 p.m. Monday, September 22, 2014 in the scattering garden at East Linwood Cemetery. David Scholl will officiate. There will be no visitation. Memorials may be made the Wayne’s House Group Home. Hinchliff-Pearson-West Funeral Directors and Cremation Services of Galesburg is handling arrangements.
