Mr. Vaughn Ray Reese, 66, of Reese Loop, Taylorsville passed away Tuesday, September 30, 2014 at Brian Center in Viewmont.
Vaughn was born February 18, 1948 in Alexander County to the late John Dallas Reese and Rose Marie Rogers Reese.
He was the owner and operator of Reese Automotive and Reese’s Body Shop. He was a member of Three Forks Baptist Church.
Including his parents, he was preceded in death by: two brothers, Dallas and Roger Reese.
Those left to cherish his memory include: his wife, Brenda Q. Reese; a daughter, Mecia R. Compton and husband, Wes, of Hickory; two grandchildren, Dylan and Evan Fairchild of Taylorsville; a brother, Ronnie Reese and wife, Vilas, of Taylorsville.
A graveside service will be conducted 1 p.m. Friday, October 3, 2014 at Taylorsville City Cemetery. The Rev. Stephen Dagenhart will officiate.
Pall bearers include: John, Todd, Matthew and Jacob Reese, Jim Deal and Ronnie Bowman.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to: Alzheimer’s Association, 3800 Shamrock Drive, Charlotte, NC 28215.
