Gregory S. LaVoie, 58, of Bourbonnais, passed away Wednesday (April 15, 2015) at his home.
He was born May 9, 1956, in Kankakee, the son of Lloyd and Lorraine Ruder LaVoie.
Greg married Kathy Cantrell on Aug. 26, 1978, at Our Saviour Lutheran Church in Bradley.
Greg worked at the Ford Stamping Plant in Chicago Heights. He was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Bradley, and enjoyed spending time with his family.
Surviving are his wife, of Bourbonnais; two sons and daughters-in-law, Tim and Michelle LaVoie, of Bradley, and Keith and Lauren LaVoie, of Riverside; four grandchildren, Aidan and Nolan, Olivia and Ella; one brother and sister-in-law, Kurt and Mary LaVoie, of Bourbonnais; sisters and brothers-in-law, Cynthia and Dennis Bossinger, Brenda and Jim Groth, all of Peoria, Ariz., Kristine and Gary Schmitz, of St. Anne, Sandra and John Maguire, of Bourbonnais, Jodi and Tim Ryan, of Bourbonnais; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Ken and Susan Cantrell, of Donovan, Chuck and Donna Cantrell, of Brookport; and sister-in-law, Judy VanAntwerp, of Bourbonnais.
Preceding him in death were his parents; and one brother, Brian LaVoie.
Burial will follow in All Saints Cemetery in Bourbonnais.
