Born to the union of Johnny and Cora Dee Whitfield Terry on October 1, 1959 in Cairo, Illinois. She departed this life at her residence on Wednesday, October 7, 2015, at 6:26 pm.
Toni graduated from Meridian High School in Mounds, Illinois. After graduation, she attended Shawnee Community College in Ullin, Illinois. Toni was a very talented Musician “Blessed by God”. She was a blessing to several of the local churches allowing her blessing from God to be a blessing to so many others. Currently Toni was a member of the First Missionary Baptist Church in Mound City, Illinois where she served as the church musician.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her siblings; Johnnie M. Terry, James E. Terry, Irma J. Terry, Tina M. Terry, and one niece, Yumeko Dee Terry.
Toni leaves to cherish her memory seven brothers and five sisters; Willie (Brenda) Terry of Las Vegas, Nevada, Marshallene McClendon of Chicago, Illinois, Owen H. Terry, Sr. of Sikeston, Missouri, Linda Sloan of Clarksville, Tennessee, Kay (Hubert) Suggs of Danville, Illinois, Michael Terry of Marion, Illinois, Allene Reed of Clarksville, Tennessee, Johnny (Genell) Terry, Jr. of Lilbourne, Missouri, Pastor Ray (Anne) Terry of Mounds, Illinois, James (Sandra) Terry of St. Paul, Minnesota, Bobby (LaToynua) Terry of Mounds, Illinois, Phyllis Jackson of St. Louis, Missouri and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins other relatives, and friends.
