The obituary appears to be in error. Armentia was his first wife, not his mother. His mother was Joanna Embick, from Social Security Records. I don't know of a connection to the Rodgers on the memorial. I have been looking at records of this family for several hours and nothing is apparent that links Rodgers to them. It might be in his second wife's family. Also, a duplicate memorial was created for him in another cemetery with his daughter and first wife. I left a message for the owner to make it a cenotaph.
