Kenneth W. Bradley fought the good fight and obtained victory over cancer on Jan. 7, 2012. Ken, also known as Dub or K-Dub, was born on April 16, 1955 in Limestone County, Ala., to the late David and Henrietta Bradley. He grew up in Massillon, Ohio and accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior at an early age. Ken worshiped the Lord at Shiloh Baptist Church. He graduated from Washington High School in 1973. Ken moved to Los Angeles, Calif. and worked for Pacific Gas Company for many years. Upon his return to Massillon, Ken worked various jobs including at Lukens Steel, InfoCision, the McKinley Grand Hotel and Grinders. In 2011, Ken briefly relocated to Leesburg, Va. and worked for Thermofisher Scientific until his health failed. Ken returned to Massillon to live out his final days. Ken was an accomplished guitarist and loved all types of music, especially the Blues and Rock and Roll. He could be found jamming on his guitar at any time of the day or night, and was an avid fan of Jimi Hendrix. Ken liked to watch westerns and had a sizable collection of movies. He was a gifted conversationalist and joke teller. His jokes and stories were so believable that you had to question their validity - he loved to make people laugh. Ken loved sports and was a big fan of the Massillon Tigers, Ohio State Buckeyes, Cleveland Browns, Cleveland Indians and Los Angeles Lakers. Ken's greatest joy and treasures were his three children and three grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, Ken is preceded in death by his oldest brother, David (Tut/Tutti) Bradley, Jr. Ken leaves to cherish his memory, his sons, Kevin Bradley of Leesburg, Va., Benjamin (Kayron) Bradley of Kansas City, Kan., Elizabeth Bradley of New York, N.Y.; three grandchildren: Ke'vion, Leila and Leah; former wife, Karen Bradley of New York, N.Y.; brother, Dennis Bradley of Massillon, Ohio; sisters, Brenda (Robert) Chambers of Canton, Ohio, Gwen Hall and Robin Bradley, both of Massillon, Ohio; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
