ST. PAUL — A Mass of Christian Burial for Jessica Ellen Fitzpatrick, 25, of St. Paul, Minn., will be at St. John Vianney Catholic Church in Fairmont. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery.
Jessica passed away Friday morning, Jan. 13, 2017, near Moorhead, Minn.
Jessica Ellen Fitzpatrick was born Dec. 9, 1991, in Fairmont, Minn., the daughter of Jason and Joanne (Moritz) Fitzpatrick. Jessica attended school in Hutchinson, Minn., Elsmere, Ky., and Mendota Heights, Minn. She was currently living in St. Paul, Minn. Jessica was a shift manager for Taco Bell for eight years before working as a teacher-on-call for Day Care Centers in the metro area.
She is survived by her parents, Joanne (Moritz) Grothe of Fairmont; Jason Fitzpatrick of Greenfield, Calif.; stepdad, Brian Terhaar; sister, Janae Fitzpatrick of Rapid City, S.D.; brother, Jordan Fitzpatrick of Greenfield, Calif.; daughter, Sofiya Hernandez; stepbrother, Joshua Grothe; grandparents, Donald and Judy Moritz of Fairmont; aunts and uncles, Richard Moritz of Fairmont, Rita and Carmine Giglio of Fairmont, Keith and Dawn Fitzpatrick of Cross Lake, Minn., Donna and Jason Gorman of Rapid City, S.D.; stepgrandmother, Stasia Terhaar; great-aunts and uncles, cousins, other relatives and friends.
Jessica was preceded in death by her grandparents, Mary Ellen and Donald James Fitzpatrick; and her great-grandparents.
