Cynthia “Cyndi” A. Dull 51, of Bluffton passed away at 1:20 p.m. Wednesday, September 17, 2014, at her residence surrounded by her family.
She was born on November 5, 1962 in Jay County, Indiana to Robert Miles & Hedy (Schumacher) Loper. A 1981 graduate of Jay County High School, she worked at Franklin Electric, and was the Legal Secretary for Rick Meyers in his law firm for many years. She was currently enrolled at Ivy Tech in Portland studying to become a Paralegal. She served as the past president of the Jay County Extension Home Makers Club and was very active in the Jay County Civic Theater along with being very supportive and Vice President of the Bluffton Band Boosters. She attended Hope Missionary Church and First Church of Christ, both in Bluffton.
She is survived by her children; Michael F. (Brittany) Shaneyfelt of Fairmount, IN, Kirsten L. Shaneyfelt of Bluffton, C. Blaze McClain of Fort Wayne and Draven R.M. Dull of Bluffton. She was a proud “Ma Maw Cyndi” to two grandchildren Stormie and Tristan Shaneyfelt of Fairmount, IN. along with siblings; Donald M. (Joan) Loper of Portland, William R. (Cheryl) Loper of Portland, Amy L. (Trent) Blackburn of Bluffton, Gary A. (Shannon) Loper of Springville, IN and Jason J. Loper of Ridgeville, Indiana.
A service to celebrate the Cyndi’s life will be held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, September 23, 2014 at the First Church of Christ in Bluffton, with calling for one hour prior to the service. Pastor Larry Sprinkle and Pastor Garry Aupperle will officiate. Burial will follow at West Lawn Cemetery in Geneva, Indiana. Calling hours will be held on Monday from 2 to 8 at the Thoma/Rich, Lemler Funeral Home in Bluffton. Memorials may be made in Cyndi’s memory to the family through the funeral home. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the care of the Thoma/Rich, Lemler Funeral Home in Bluffton.
