Richard J. "Dick" Draher, 63, of 4119 N. Timber Circle, a 32-year resident of Yates City, died Monday, Feb. 19, 2001, at his residence.

Born Dec. 1, 1937, in Peoria to Oliver G. and Lillian E. Hemphill Draher, he married Suzanne Marie Bobeck on Jan. 20, 1962, in Peoria. She survives.

Also surviving are two sons, Joseph (and Mary) of Hanna City and Scott (and Michele) of Elmwood; one daughter, Ann Swarts of Peoria; one brother, George of Pekin; and two sisters, Rita (and George) Fistler of Peoria and Mary Janke of Peoria.

He was preceded in death by one son, Timothy Draher; and seven sisters.

He worked as a painter for OSF Saint Francis Medical Center for 34 years before retiring. He served as a coach for Yates City Little League for 16 years.

He was a member of the Harvest Home Park Board, Yates City High School Boosters Club and was a member of the Hanna City Sportsman's Club for 10 years.

Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery in Elmwood.
