Death Of Mr. Field
Mr. J. Albert Field died at his home on upper Prince street today shortly after noon. His sickness which dates back a few weeks was one of alternating hopes and fears, but not until yesterday was his condition deemed critical. He was the son of the late Stephen K. Field and a nephew of Mayor G. L. Simpson, in whose store he has served as a clerk since leaving school. Mr. Field was a graduate of the public schools and among the first to pass the examination which entitled him to the University scholarship. As a member of the Musical Association and the Bachelor Club, and being a genial nature, he was liked by his many friends and associates.
