Eddie D. “Buck” Wise, Jr., 44, of Warren, Texas died Sunday, may 2, 1999 at his residence.

Funeral services were held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, May 8, 1999 at the Warren Chapel Baptist Church in Warren, Texas with Rev. Willie Gill, Sr. officiating. Burial followed at the Hillister Community Cemetery in Hillister, Texas.

Visitation was held on Friday from 6 - 8 p.m. at the funeral home chapel.

Eddie Wise was a native of Deadwood, Louisiana. He lived in Warren, Texas for over 40 years. He was a loyal employee of Spurlock Logging Company of Woodville, Texas. He leaves to cherish his memories, a devoted wife, Joyce Thrower Wise of Warren, Texas; stepdaughters, Michele Murchison of Doucette, Texas, and Audrea Chatman of Woodville, Texas; stepsons, Larry Chatman of Los Angeles, California and Kevin Thrower of Doucette, Texas; sisters, Shirley Wise Menefee of Warren, Texas, Ethel SueHarris, Garner Perry, and Ruby Daniels all of Woodville, Texas; brothers, Eddie Wise, Jr. of Hillister, Texas and Gerald Wyatt of Atlanta, Georgia; and six grandchildren.

Services entrusted to Coleman’s Tyler County Funeral Home in Woodville, Texas.
