George E. Moeller, Jr., age 83, of Sykesville, died Sunday, January 25, 2015 at Seasons Hospice, Randallstown, MD.

He was born September 9, 1931 in Baltimore, MD, the son of the late George E. Moeller, Sr., and the late Mildred Evelyn Reimer Moeller.

He was the husband of Thelma K. Moeller (nee Black).

He was the father of Douglas B. Moeller, Tamara A. Moeller and the late Bryan C. Moeller; brother of Dorothy Polk and Ruth Wolpert; grandfather of Meghan, Rachel Anne, Amber, Rachellynn, Stephanie, and Bryan.

He served in the U.S. Army as a sergeant. He was in the Baltimore City Fire Dept. (28 years), retired as a Lieutenant. He was a former member of the VFW, Elks and the American Legion. He was the financial officer for Baltimore City Retirees Association for 8 years.

After a service with the Rev. Robin Simpson Litton of Holy Spirit Lutheran Church in Eldersburg officiating; Interment with military honors will be at Garrison Forest Veterans Cemetery.
