Born September 8, 1926 in Etna, he was a son of the late Paul and Kata (Chavlovich) Lorkovich. Mr. Lorkovich was a retired employee of the seamless tube department of LTV Steel in Aliquippa with 34 years of service and proudly served in the U.S. Army infantry during World War II. Paul was a member of St. Titus Catholic Church in Aliquippa; C.F.U; S.N.P.J; Hopewell VFW Post #8805; Zelienople Sportsman's Club and Marienville Rod and Gun Club. Among his many interests, he was an avid hunter, fisherman and ice fisherman, and at the age of 70 he started playing golf.
He is survived by his loving wife of 64 years, Elsie (Ursich) Lorkovich; two daughters and sons-in-law, Judy and Ron Stemple of Jeannette and Linda and Tom Berens of Gainesville, FL; three beloved and adored granddaughters, Stephanie (Nathan) Keller, Renee Berens and Jessica Berens, and two sisters-in-law, Rita Lorkovich and Leona Lorkovich.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Stephan and John Lorkovich, and two sisters, Ann Zaluski and Mary Butcher.
Friends will be received Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. in the TATALOVICH FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATION SERVICES, INC., 2205 McMinn St., Aliquippa, www.tatalovichfuneralhome.com, where a service will be held Thursday at 10:30 a.m., followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. in St. Titus Catholic Church, Aliquippa, with Father Howard Campbell officiating.
Entombment will follow at 12:15 p.m. in Mt. Olivet Catholic Cemetery Mausoleum, Hopewell Twp., where the Beaver County Special Unit will conduct military honors.
