Ruth C. Lawyer Taylor, 76, Watertown, formerly of Brewerton, died Friday at Mercy of Northern New York.
She was a clerical worker at Acme Foods in Syracuse and an inspector at General Electric Co. in Liverpool.
Born Dec. 21, 1925, in Oswegatchie, daughter of Archie and Grace Clute Lawyer, she graduated from Morristown High School and married Frank Taylor.
She was a former member of Calvary Baptist Church in Brewerton.
Surviving besides her husband are a daughter, Julie Anna Taylor, Cedarvale, and four sisters, Pauline Fleming, Hammond, Delia Simpson, Walden, Frances Austin, Ogdensburg, and Jennie Condin, Orangeburg.
A graveside service will be at a later date in Howlett Hill Cemetery.
