Funeral services are planned for Thursday, Dec. 5 at 2 p.m. at Johnson Brown-Service Funeral Home Chapel in Valley with the Rev. Tim Bass officiating. Burial will follow at Resthaven Memorial Gardens in Lanett.
Mrs. Milford is survived by her children, Linda Milford of Wetumpka, Terry (Cindy) Milford of McMinnville and Lisa Canady of Valley; grandchildren, April (Shawn) DeMers of Nashville, Tenn., Carl Milford of Meansville, Ga., Christy (John) Upchurch of McMinnville, Randy (Rachel) Milford of Griffin, Ga., David (Ashley) Milford of Chattanooga, Tenn., and Damon Canady of Valley; and 12 great-grandchildren.
Born Feb. 14, 1929, in Fairfax, Mrs. Milford was the daughter of the late Lonnie and Berta Williamson. She worked as a forelady in the overedging department for WestPoint Pepperell. Mrs. Milford loved her family and especially enjoyed time with her great-grandchildren. She was a member of Fairview Baptist Church in Valley. She was preceded in death by her husband, William "Billy" Milford; her son, Steve Milford; and her grandson, Richard Clements.
Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made in her memory to Fairview Baptist Church.
The family will receive friends Thursday from 1 p.m. until the funeral hour at Johnson Brown-Service Funeral Home in Valley.
