Born in Ft. Plain, NY, he was the son of the late Lee and Lena Weigle Dygert. Bob graduated from Cornell University with a degree in Agriculture. Prior to retirement he worked in sales for the International Salt Co.
Bob loved sailing on Lake Wallenpaupack and even spent a week sailing the ocean near the Virgin Islands. He was also well known for his musical ability. He especially enjoyed playing his guitar for local nursing homes and at the First Presbyterian Church of Clarks Summit where he was a devoted member.
Always quick witted, Bob had a catchy comeback for any question. He was a warm loving husband and father who will be dearly missed by his family and many friends.

He was preceded in death by a daughter Nancy Mayer.
A Celebration of Bob’s Life will be held on February 15th at noon from the First Presbyterian Church of Clarks Summit, 300 School St., Clarks Summit, with services by Rev. William Carter, pastor. Interment will be private at the convenience of the family in Chase Cemetery, Fleetville.
