Kenneth was born in 1914 in Rawalpindi, India. He was the son of a British
Soldier; his initials reflect his fatherʼs Regiment, the Kings Royal Rifles. His
family came to Canada when he was a boy. His military career started as a
Cadet. His medical problems led to him training troops prior to them going
overseas. After WWII, he served in the North Saskatchewan Regiment
Militia, part of this period as its Commanding Officer. He was active in
voluntary service including the RCL Branch #349, the St. Johnʼs Ambulance
and the Masons. Ken passed away in 2004.
