SADLER, William Patrick, 63, of Richmond, Va., passed away at Johnston Willis Hospital, Monday, April 14, 2014. Patrick or "Pat," by his family and friends, was born on March 15, 1951 in Newport News, Va. He was preceded in death by his father, Henry M. Sadler; and brother, Mark Steven Sadler. He is survived by his loving wife, Karen E. Sadler of Richmond; his two beloved daughters, Kristin of Washington, D.C. and Kendall Sadler of Baltimore, Md.; dedicated mother, Betty Sadler of Newport News; sisters, Carol Sadler Contarino (Joseph) and Karen Sadler, both of Richmond; brother, Henry M. Sadler of Hawaii. He is also survived by his nieces and nephew, Sara Martin Sheets, Shelby Keys and Joseph Contarino IV; great- niece, Elizabeth Guidry; and great-nephew, Nicholas Sheets. Pat was a dedicated father and son. He loved gardening and perusing antique and thrift stores. He will be remembered for his thoughtfulness and sense of humor.
