Janice Sue Lane, 78, of Huntington, passed away on Tuesday, September 27, 2016 at St. Mary’s Medical Center. She was born on November 28, 1937 in Huntington. Janice was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Arlen Lane; her brothers, Patrick, Maurice and Bob Stoler; her dear sister-in-law, Cecelia Stoler and 2 half-sisters. She is survived by her children, Kelly Paugh of Huntington, Pamela (David) Craig of Lesage, WV, Richie Lane of Roanoke, VA and Bridgette (Butch) Adkins of FL; her sister, Shirley Layne of OH; 7 grandchildren and ten great-great-grandchildren. Janice retired from Kerr Glass after 20 years of service. She was strong-willed and had a great sense of humor. In her free time, Janice enjoyed fishing, hiking and painting and loved spending time with her sister, Shirley, whom she loved more than life. She will be dearly missed and lovingly remembered. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Friday, September 30, 2016 at Beard Mortuary, Huntington. The family will welcome friends one hour prior to services. Interment will follow at White Chapel Memorial Gardens, Barboursville.
